Limmud, a Hebrew word for learning, is a global movement inspired by the idea that when Jews from diverse backgrounds come together to celebrate Jewish thought, arts, culture, life, learning and teaching the entire community is enriched.

Limmud creates local and regional conferences with the purpose of helping individuals explore their connection to Jewish ideas and tradition through workshops, discussions, arts, music, performances, text-study sessions, and much more. The events are all planned by a community of volunteers - Jews from all walks of life, all Jewish backgrounds, all lifestyles and all ages. Limmud is not about developing a political or ideological agenda, but an opportunity to craft your own Jewish world and meet people who share your curiosity and enthusiasm. Relax, reflect, and celebrate.

Our next event is LimmudFest, a retreat taking place over Labor Day weekend in the beautiful North Georgia mountains. Learn More
