About the Event
In meaningful constructive dialogue let’s explore how multiethnic and multicultural identities are subjected to discrimination within our own Jewish communities, and hold space for each other in a radical act of empathy. As JOC must grapple with racism and antisemitism on multiple fronts; we’ll also discuss and debate how the lessons and narratives of Passover are relevant to the current racial and social justice movements of today.
AJOCC’s mission is to foster sustainable, accepting, inclusive and nurturing Jewish environments where all Jews feel welcomed. This event is free and open to all people, but will center Jews of Color. Registration for this event is required. The first 20 people to register will receive a gift to use at your seder!
